Greetings candace110,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. If your Apple ID is disabled, it will most likely occur in one of two ways:

(1) When you attempt to sign into the Apple ID website https://appleid.apple.com/

(2) When you attempt to update applications, or download new applications from the App Store

If number 1 is true perform the following:

(1) Go to https://iforgot.apple.com/ and reset your Apple ID password if you use Security Questions;

(2) If you use Two-Factor Authentication, use a Trusted Device.

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If number 2 is true perform the following:

(1) Go to Report a Problem and login to your Apple ID, once there select 'Receipts' from the top and see if you have any pending or open orders that have not yet been paid.

(2) Contact iTunes Chat Support - Contact Apple Support (iTunes Store > Account Management > iTunes Store account billing > Chat)

Regards!
