imac 2010 21.5 inch running mac os 10.2 has weird screen artifacting and fails to boot
today when i turned it on the screen had a pattern on it all over the screen and the progress bar gets to about 40% than it just sits there Ive tried resetting the PRAM and nothing happens please help

Looks like a failing graphic card to me. Have you tried running AHT from the original discs that shipped with your Mac?

no i got the files off the hdd using target disk mode and i replaced it two years ago
and AHT doesn't work
it turned on in safe mode
it its the GPU will it change if i change the resoloution
