iOS 11.3 App Store battery drain

I'm having the same issues! Under settings- battery it also says that it is App Store draining it (29% of all battery used by App Store (1 min on screen)). This started happening after I updated to 11.3

Hoping for a resolve

So, if you restore as a new phone, can you then go back and restore from a previous backup and the battery issues are resolved? Or, am I stuck with a phone that needs everything loaded all over again?

I had this problem two weeks ago and after extensive Googling I found a huge thread on Reddit and some guy figured out it had something to do with having an Apple Watch. He recommended unpairing your watch then pairing it again and I did that and it did fix itself! However. Two weeks later, this problem is rearing its ugly head again. I've even made triply sure that I had switched off the "heavy rotation" music syncing onto my watch (I don't have any music on my watch at all). I have no idea what the problem is this time! The only thing I can think of to do is just unpairing and pairing my watch again which is far less tedious than resetting my iPhone completely which does nothing anyway.

Unpairing and then pairing my watch again to my phone did fix the problem. My battery then showed App store usage as <1% which is as it should be. However, the problem is occurring again so I don't know. There were also mentions of something to do with syncing between phone and watch being interrupted?

It will not. I have also this problem, restore everything doesn't work for me, start as new iPhone as well. There is no fix to do except Apple fix the problem themselves.

I have the same problem where it says 80% of my battery was drained by app store audio with it being open for 1 minute even if all apps were force closed

So did it actually resolve the problem

I don’t think this is true because it happens to me all the time without an Apple Watch

I have this issue to and I don't Evan have a apple watch. I did a factory reset and started up as new iPhone and the problem still exist. App store is on 25-40% and only 1 min or so on screen

I’ve been having the same problem but what I find that works for me most of the time is leaving my phone on low power mode or airplane mode
