Installation requires downloading important content. That content can't be downloaded at this time. Try again later.

I want to update my laptop to macOS 10.13.4. Yesterday I downloaded the update but I didn't install it. When I woke up today and turn on my laptop, launched Install macOS High Sierra and click on Continue the error appears Installation requires downloading important content. That content can't be downloaded at this time. Try again later.

I need help to update my MacBook, Please help me to fix this issue

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.4)

Ok, then I can only suggest that you download the installer again. Something seems to have gone wrong the first time, but this probably was just a network glitch, and it is likely that it will work fine the next time.

Have you been given an aswer yet. Today is May 1 and I am having the same issue which makes me assume they havent fixed the issue yet?! This is not good!

After speaking with five senior advisors this is what Dale from Apple came up with. This is what I thought was the problem when I first contacted support.

Ok so there are only two options, you can try again at a later time or go to Sierra its a older version

It does seems to be a issue with the high Sierra
