QUICKTIME VS PROSHOW GOLD

I recently bought Quicktime Pro to develope slideshows with audio. I was hoping that it could do many of the things that Proshow Gold from Photodex can to avoid having to run PC only programs on my Mac. Can someone tell me what Mac software compares with the following list of attributes of Proshow Gold? I'm particularly interested in being able to zoom a slide in subsequent images, pan a slide in subsequent images and waveform syncing of audio with slide changes.
