My clips just froze with purple bar in timeline

Hello, I accidentally did too many copy paste attributes and I think it destroyed some clips..

Some of my clips have a purple line on top of the timeline..and when i playback or stroll my cursor on them it's just a still frame. Nothing. It just freezes there before getting to the next working clips...

I put like 5 hours editing a minute long movie and theres a few clips that won't work! Please anyone help ? See the picture below for better explanation. Wherever you see purple, the frame is still and doesn't play. As if it turned into a picture.

What version of FCP X?

If you select one of those clips and open the Inspector, what do you see?

If you select one such clip, press Shift-F and drag the browser copy onto the timeline clip and choose Replace, does the clip then play in the timeline?

(Note: doing this will put a fresh copy without any effects in the timeline).

It may also be the case that somehow the project got corrupted. One other thing you can try: select all; copy; create a new project; paste. Often the new project works just fine.
