iphone SE trackpad mode

getting an SE for my husband. i know that w/ iOS 11 there are no more arrow keys on the keyboard. i know it doesn't have 3D touch like my 6s so i am wondering if is there a trackpad mode, like on the ipad, where you use two fingers to move the cursor around?

im a little confused, why would a feature that doesn't require pressing the screen require 3D touch?what we need is to move the cursor - however it is accomplished.i understand that on my iphone 6s 3 D touch allows me to do that by applying pressure and sliding. the ipad does it by using two fingers and swiping - no pressure since it doesn't have 3D touch. seems that the SE doesn't have any ability to move the cursor other than using back space and erasing everything between where you stopped and where you want to get to for correction purposes.
