My iPad is disabled and saying connect to iTunes but nothing happens

Does your computer's iTunes not recognise it when you connect it to it : If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support ?
If it doesn't try : If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
