using iTunes to add or delete apps on iPhone

I have iPhone 6S latest iOS and I synch thru iTunes 12.7.4.76 (the latest) connected to my desktop iMac running Hi-Sierra (the latest). For some reason I cannot find the screen in iTunes where I can select apps to be loaded or removed. I thought Apps was under the Summary with the music, photos, etc, choices. Its not there. So I'm confused how to change or review what I have downloaded and not currently have loaded. Searching the apps store on my iPhone or trying to remember what I have is not practical and time consuming. I know how to delete using the iPhone, but I also could unload using iTunes when synching and now I no longer know how.

Thanks, I guess I didn't keep up, but that approach is not great. I know you are a messenger and appreciate your responding. Thank you. And thank you for links explaining.

My soap box statement: I like the old way for viewing on my desktop. It is simple on the iPhone, even good! But it doesn't add value and since I synch regularly with my desktop, I like one stop convenience addressing all at one time and place. I'm not ready to synch automatically thru iCloud.
