Soundcheck triggering distortion

It seems like the Soundcheck parameter in Music settings on iPhone SE and other models as well is the cause of strong distortion; is there any hope for a correction of this on a future update?

Music distorted Hi. I have an iPhone XR running on ios 12.3.1. I use both iTunes and Amazon music and can connect via Bluetooth or by wired headphones using a lighting adapter. whatever app I use or whatever way I connect the music always sounds distorted. I have used various EQ settings and toggled Volume Limit and Sound Check. Nothing seems to work. It sounds distorted whatever headphones or whatever connection I am using. Can anybody help?
