Same way you delete on any other iPhone. Tap lightly and hold on an app icon until the all start to shake, then tap on thein the corner to delete the App.
Press the home button, when done.
More details here: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Press and hold the app on the home screen until the display wiggles. Click the "X" in the upper left. End the wiggling by clicking the home button.
This will hide the app, not fully "delete" it. But you won't see it.
You asked how to delete Apps. That's the way you delete Apps.
For built in Apple apps, it may only hide them.
For Apps from the app store it will entirely delete them from the device.
What is not working exactly? What happens when you try the steps provided?

Not sure what you are trying to find out? If you want to uninstall an app from your iPhone 6 Plus, you lightly touch and hold your finger on any icon until they wiggle, then you tap on the "x" in the upper left-hand corner of the icon for the app you want to uninstall.
Beyond that, not sure what further information you are looking for?
Best,
GB
I have tried this method many times over, ..... the app icons will wiggle, and even move when dragged, however, there aren’t any little “x’s” anymore... and nothing stays gone... everything pops right back into beginning position!

I'm glad rbrylawski was able to help you out. I did want to point out that had you provided that critical piece of information (there aren't any little "x's" anymore), that would have led to your getting the correct answer right away. Remember, we can't see your device. So, if you don't tell us exactly what the issue is, then a lot of time is wasted with people trying to help a situation that they do not have the full picture for. Many people come here asking exactly what you asked "How do I delete Apps", and they mean exactly that. They don't know how to do it. Your problem was that you couldn't delete them because the "x's" were missing. That is a huge piece of information that you failed to provide. Night and day, essentially.
So, if you are going to ask another question, think about how we see it from this vantage point, and provide a complete picture so we can help you efficiently.
Best,
GB
Sounds like you may have Restrictions enabled, and have turned off the option to Delete Apps.
Check in Settings->General->Restrictions->Deleting Apps and make sure its turned on.
Press and hold on the icon until it starts to jiggle. Then tap the 'x' to delete.
Not what I asked ..... thanks any
Well smartie pants that ain’t working since the iOS 11 updates...... so can anybody on an up to date planet help me, please!
They start wiggling, okay .... however there aren’t any “x’s” , anymore.... everything else seems to function as always, though.
You said this happened after an update?
Go to Settings > General > Restrictions and see if Deleting Apps somehow got turned off.
You actually hit the nail for me... the yes response just went to Phil.... because of the timing of his incoming suggestions which also mirrored yours ...... thanks!’ !!!! Great Job , team !!!
Glad we could help!
