Each time i turn VPN off it turns itself back on with my iphone 8 11.3 iOS. What can I do to keep it off. Is there any risk in leaving it on

I think it is since I added Adbloc recently. It was i deleted the ap and the VPN icon disappeared. If I use Adbloc again should I worry about the VPN being on?
Your VPN may be turning back on because you have a VPN app still open.
Depending on your VPN, the risks I see are the following:
To disconnect from your VPN, I suggest you try to close all of your apps by clicking twice on the Home button twice and swipe your VPN app up. If it still doesn't work, try restarting your iPhone.
Well if Adbloc requires you to connect through a VPN of theirs I would guess this is part of their business model and... They must be monitoring your activity.

Thanks I did that, closed all the aps, restarted the phone but the VPN keeps turning itself on almost immediately. I have only noticed this over the last few days. As you say this could be a security issue. I use Trend anti virus
Ah perhaps this is after I recently added adblock ap, perhaps that caused
