Digital AV Adapter on iPad Aspect Ratio

Hello. I was considering buying an iPad Pro and a Lightning to Digital AV Adapter to plug into my monitor. However, all of the pictures I've seen have the mirror in a 4:3 ratio instead of 16:9. Is there anyway to change the aspect ration from 4:3 to 16:9 from within the iPad instead of just streching the image on the monitor?

No.

But movies, TV shows, YouTube videos, Vimeo, Netflix and Hulu or any other streaming video content, in HD, WILL show up in 16:9, when transmitted through the digital AV adapter, but maybe will not fill the entire screen of digital flat screen TV it is connected to.

The actual iPad screens and any productivity apps MAY NOT appear in 16:9, but in the iPad’s standard 4:3 screen ratio.
