Display Issues in iPad Air 2

I'm using an iPad Air 2 64Gb Model MGKL2LL/A with iOS 11.3 (15E216) and there seems to be an issue with the screen's display, the colors seem excessively saturated, this iPad has never been dropped, though it has been constantly used. The problem is that the screen keeps getting darker as I use it, and also, when I switch apps you can see a ghost image of the previous screen that lingers.

I took a screenshot and sent it to my phone, the image looks perfectly sharp with no issues when seen on the iPhone (as the pictures shown bellow), so it makes me think it’s a hardware issue, but I’m not sure. Has this happened to anyone? And also, is there a way to fix this without replacing the screen?
