Why is media taking up 1/3 of my storage?

My Iphone 6s with 16GB of memory. It is saying that 1/3 of the storage is being taken up my media. I’ve deleted all my media apps except Facebook Messenger, I’ve deleted photos and recently deleted (which photos has it’s own category, so I don’t know if that actually did anything for the media storage), I’ve clear text messages, and I don’t know what else could be taking up so much space with media. All my apps are taking up less than 200MB and I have next to no apps, only 5 apps that didn’t come with the phone. Is there anything else I can do to clear some of this Media storage?
