iPhone 8 Home Button Challenge

I have a new iPhone 8. I'm not sure if the home button is behaving correctly. It does not click at all, and when I go to settings to set it, nothing happens. In the meantime, I'm using assistive technology to move beyond this. Should I be bringing the phone back? It's brand new today.
