iPhone X doesn't make charging tone

Hello,

I know its dumb but I'm aware of it and I will blindly plug in my phone at night to charge and hearing the charging tone reassures me that it is indeed charging. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I cleaned the lint out of the charging port but no avail. I don't think its settings or the side mute switch bc my phone is always on loud. Just curious. Thanks for any tips or help.
