create a MBR manually using GPT FDisk

Hi there,

I just found this Googling around for the same issue the OP had. I see he went with the downgrade from High Sierra; I, on the other hand, would like to try your alternative...

Now, I know how to do most things you mention, but this part I have no clue how to do:

"create a MBR manually using GPT FDisk"

Could you help me a bit there? Please!

Should I create a new thread? (Seeing as I have the EXACT same issue, I would advice against it; I too cannot chose an option that is not either 40 GB... or -8 GB [Yikes Apple! You messed up there didn't you?])

Well, pardon the abuse, but seeing as you reply promptly, I will take the liberty of asking: Where is GPT FDisk installed to? It is also called GDisk, right? I mean, I did the setup, but after that it kind of vanishes... I am in no way able to find it... Excuse me for my ignorance...

Actually, I don't know if you meant to guide me through the process... Could you please do that?

I just installed it with the included set-up...
