Converting Audio to MIDI using Flex Pitch Data isn't working?

So I went through the process of converting audio flex pitch data to MIDI notes. And it looked like it worked - the midi region appeared in the tracks window and I could see all the notes in the region. When I went to play it, however, there was no sound. I checked to make sure the volume wasn't off on the instrument, and it wasn't. When I checked the editor window, however, none of the notes were there. They appear in the region automation section of the editor window, but not in the main section. They don't appear in the score section either. Nothing else is wrong with the instrument - I can record other parts and it makes sound fine, but the MIDI notes from the flex pitch data are in a twilight zone between existence and non-existence. Does anyone know what the problem is?
