Can’t open the pdf files in my iBook

Nothing in my iBook app will open. I have many PDF files that I’ve saved over a period of time. They will not open at all. There’s a blue circle with a square in the center next to it. But it is not downloading. And there’s really no reason to download as I did not view these from the Internet nor did I purchase. I created these PDFs from email attachments or text attachments etc. I’ve tried rebooting my phone. Cellular data is on. iCloud is on. Ibooks is on. But nothing is working

Moving PDF file to iBooks app Hey guys, recently I have this issue, when I save a PDF file from a website, it automatically saves in "downloads" folder . And then, when I choose "open in iBooks" it opens correctly, but after I exit the PDF file it disappears from iBooks. The strange thing is, that later I opened this same file from downloads folder (it's this iCloud one) on my iPad and it started reading from the point that I stopped on iPhone, but sadly I couldn't move/ save it to/in iBooks once again. When I added book to the iBooks app on Mac it automatically showed in apps on both devices few seconds later. Honestly, it's my first post here, because I can't find any solution to this problem on web and it's really annoying. Has anyone had this issue/ problem? Please help :( PS I updated all of devices, restarted them etc.

books & PDF in IBOOKS not opening. Since recently the books & PDF in IBOOKS are not opening, But they exist in iCloud. I am using iPad OS 14.6 i have tried deleting and installing iBooks stopping synchronization with iCloud as suggested by a user in the apple community but nothing seems to work thank you rosanne [Edited by Moderator]
