Battery

So last May, I upgraded my 6s to my 7+. The battery life on my 7 been garbage since day one. I backed it up from iCloud. Could it been something from my old phone than transferred to this one. Thank you

Since my iPhone 6s (which has an 88% maximum capacity left) was updated to iOS 13, my battery life has gone to nearly useless. I made no changes whatsoever to my phone beside updating the iOS. If I start my morning with 100% charge, I can easily go down to 50% in about 30 minutes (while on Wifi) by just answering or receiving a number of emails and text messages. Where is the article for the older phones? This is only for the new phone so how am I supposed to tell to save my battery in my older phone? My phone, iphone SE, it’s only about a year and a half old. My battery life has decreased to 87% already. I haven’t even got paid off through my two-year contract. This seems like an awful big percentage loss for a brand new phone. I want to know if this sounds normal or if it’s decreasing faster than it should. I do play games on it and I know that it gets a lot of use that way. But it still seems like that is losing its power faster than it should.
