Playlist wont shuffle iphone 7 new software

so what is going on - updated to new software and shuffle does not work. Big shuffle icon next to play arrow is not working. Dont want to listen to the same song repeatedly.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8, Please help.

Shuffle always on - iPhone 7, iOS 14.4.2 I have a recurring problem with the shuffle function on my iPhone 7. It has been a problem stretching back to iOS 13 at least. I can not turn off Shuffle. The icon stays bold red no matter how many times I tap it--it never toggles to white background indicating not shuffling. I've closed the app and restarted my phone countless times. When i press shuffle in a playlist, it won’t change songs. When playing music on iPhone, I will press shuffle in a playlist. It’ll play a song but as soon as that one song is over it will play this other song and it’s like it’s stuck and won’t change songs. You will hit next and it’ll still play that same song. I have made sure it isn’t on repeat and made sure shuffle has been clicked. But it still won’t work. Any advice? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
