Numbers slowed down since update (5.0)

hi all

is it me, or has Numbers slowed down substantially since the last update (to 5.0)?

every time i make some changes to my spreadsheets the "Calculating..." message appears at the bottom of the screen and seems to take forever to show the updated cells..... it seems Apple may have compromised the speed of the data/formulas etc for the enhanced graphics and presentation tools....?

i assume there's no simple fix for this, maybe i just have to wait and hope the next update will increase the speed to how it was before?
