ibooks

My iPad storage shows 6,14 gb. but there are only 204 books.

before i had about 1400 books. after syncing this iPad with my MacBook air i lost them. mostly pdf. which were not downloaded from iBooks store.

and in iBooks on my MacBook i have some books but not all.... where are my books?

iCloud deleted all my books I had close to 100 books and documents in my iBooks. I could read books offline any time in the past, but since 2017 I had to download them time to time (not often). In 2018 I cannot access them without wifi at all, they always ask for a backup from the Icloud. I have never asked iCloud to freaking back them up. And when I turned off the so-called back up function, iCloud just deleted them from my phone. WHY? Is there a way to restore them? I used the general back up half a year ago, is there a way to restore them using it?

ipad series 9 and deleting books from ibooks Hi I am an avid reader and am trying to delete some books that are actually listed in PURCHASED BOOKS. I assume that means they are in the cloud. If i click on my books nothing is there. Can I delete these books completely? Would appreciate any answers. Thanks
