How do I retrieve a deleted text conversation on my iphone?

If you have a backup made before you deleted that conversation, restore your iphone from that backup, keeping in mind that that operation overwrite all the exixting current data on your iphone:

If you don't have a backup, that conversation is gone.
Try and ask your correspondent to send it back to your iphone.
