Password setting for icloud

I went for resetting of my password for icloud and also received an email verifying the change in password. The pop-up for password is there again and again and the system is probably not accepting the new password.

It will remove it from the phone, yes. But if it's in the cloud it should sync back when you sign in again. You might want to check it is all in the cloud on a computer at iCloud.com, if you use photo stream you might want to save your photos.
