I have an iMac Pro with lates High Sierra OS, I saw that in Audio Midi setup there are the settings you see in the screenshot, do you have the same ones?

i find mine was set to 44.1k rather than 48k, but i use both GarageBand and Logic Pro X, which may have set that value.
what is it that you trying to determine?
