Apple Airpods suddenly stops working

Hi everyone,

Something is fishy with my airpods. They suddenly stop working 10-30 seconds into a song I'm streaming off of iTunes. The only way to resolve this is:

A. Turn off bluetooth and turn it back on.

B. Reset and reconnect airpods.

C. Play a voice message and suddenly stop it (this seems to be the fastest solution).

It's annoying having to repeat this process every 10-30 seconds and makes me think that spending $170 for this was a waste when my regular headphones actually worked... Any way to resolve this issue?
