I need a New apple computer to Edit dvd home made movies. New computers Don't have CD-ROM?.
I'd suggest getting a refurbished Mac that has a CD/DVD drive. Personally, I think the mid-2011/mid-2012 iMac and MacBookPro models were nearly the best Apple ever made. They came with CD/DVD drives, FireWire, Thunderbolt and analog audio in & out. In my book, perfect for media capture and editing.
Occasionally Apple has these models in their refurbished Mac shop. Many more can be found on usedmac.com, macofalltrades.com and other vendors.
The alternative would be to get a current model Mac plus the Apple USB SuperDrive although I don't really recommend that approach for capturing video.
