I created a new account as I could not sign in to mine. But then I could not even sign my laptop

I would like to sign to my laptop. It says password is incorrect

my apple id password says its inccorect but its not and wont search my id Laptop won't allow me to sign into my apple ID so I can't use messages or download new apps. etc.
