apple watch should unlock phone

Seems like I am constantly unlocking my iphone. The finger print detector ***** and most of the time it just opens a siri session. Not sure what the best solution is, but wait, now my watch opens up my PC whenever I have it on. If the same would work for my phone, I wouldn't have to constantly press that button. Seems like someone should have figured this out by now.
