With the latest update, my car (ie Bluetooth) will not sync correctly to my phone nor will it search my playlists.

CarPlay is totally irrelevant to your issue. The number of threads regarding various Honda vehicles and phones updated to iOS 11 would certainly point to a compatibility problem. As to who is to blame for the compatability issue, I'm uncertain. I will not update my phone to iOS 11, as a working BlueTooth system in my 2016 Pilot is more important than the latest and greatest Apple emojis.

It is a 2016 Pilot...we have two and neither now works right with the Bluetooth...
I'm just going by what Apple states as compatible.
How did someone on this conversation get Honda to replace sound system? I have a 2016 Pilot that hasn’t been right since I got it. They refuse to help. With the new Apple 11 update, it won’t search my playlists...help!
