Email app stuck on "downloading 1 of 18"

Anyone experience this? The email app begins the process of retrieving my email and says "downloading 1 of 18" and the progress bar stays at the same spot and doesn't move. Tried resetting my Network Settings and that didn't help. This just started today.

On iphone 5s, LTE connection.

I assume there is an issue on apple's end. Is there a place I can look to see if there are any type of service disruptions, or is there another issue?

Issue adding an email When trying to add an email to mail on an iPhone, it errors out saying too many redirects. Rebooted the phone, switched networks, nothing is working.

Mail app problem doesn’t fetch iPhone 6+. iOS 11.2.5. I have four email accounts set up on the mail app. All fetch properly but one doesn’t. Occasionally it will but not often. Setting are all correct. Anyone having same problem or any idea of a fix?
