Question: Resetting an Apple Watch.

So I got an Apple Watch from a coworker but when I went to pair it it’s saying that the watch is listed under someone’s Apple ID(not my coworkers). How do I reset the Apple Watch and list it to my Apple ID?

That’s helpful but like I said my coworker got it from someone and that person he got it from never turned off Activation Lock. And he has no contact with him now so how do I erase the Apple Watch so I can activate it since it’s stuck on that Activation Lovk page?

Only the Apple ID owner can remove Activation Lock. There are no back doors, no workarounds, nothing anyone else can do to clear it. AL is an anti-theft security feature, and it is very secure. Your watch can never be paired to a new phone until the lock is removed.
