Mac charger not charging

So its been a little more than a year that i got my macbook pro 2015 model and it was certifies refurbished. Two weeks ago i think it was something that came in contact with my charger but im not sure. So i tried charging it and it just stopped working. No green light except very rarely after like 200 attempts. And the green light was the only time it charged. It wouldnt change to orange. Currently it is off and im not able to get it to charge because it has no charge. I dont want to spend 80 for another one. Are there any solutions?
