Finder Column View - can't see all file properties

Sometime in the last couple updates, when using the Column View in Finder, when you select a file, the file preview icon no longer dynamically updates, so it typically ends up taking all the vertical space in the file preview area, and as such, you can't see all the file property details, such as: Created, Modified, Last opened.

If you want to see all the details, you have to vertically drag the Finder window to be bigger.

In the past, the file Preview Icon would dynamically change its size based upon the available real estate in the file preview area, so you could always see the file properties.

I setup my Finder windows so they are wider than taller. If you size your Finder window differently, such as that it is taller than wider, then this isn't an issue for you.
