Photo - An unexpected error occurred (error code -8076).

I have an ext hard drive which contains my Photo library. I have also configured it as the system library for 2 users (userA and userB) of the macbook.

However, I noticed I can't delete or rename an album with userB.

I tried to "ignore ownership for this volume" on the EHD, but it throws the "An unexpected error occurred (error code -8076)." error.

How can I overcome this error and allow all user to have control on the EHD and the Photo library?

Photo app - quits with error message, no option to repair librarry Secondary account on an iMac running High Sierra. As soon as the Photo app is selected, a message pops up to the effect that “An unexpected error had occurred. Quit the app and restart, OK”. Clicking “OK” closes the app but restarting gets exactly the same error message. i have tried to rebuild the library but using Opt+Cmd keys when starting the Photo app simply beings up the page with the same error message. There is no option to rebuild the library. The Photo app works fine on the main account. I very recently had the Mac hard drive replaced as the old one had failed - the techies transferred everything on the old drive to the new and, as far as I have determined, the only app that isn’t working is Photo on the secondary account. Any suggestions as to what to do next?

Error Moving Photos Library I moved my photos library to an external drive temporarily and now I am trying to move it back to another external drive where I usually store it. However, I am getting an error every time I try to move it. I get the same error if I try to move it back to my mac's internal drive as well. See the photo below:The drive I am trying to move it to has just been formatted and is completely empty. I formatted it in Mac OS Journaled and I have formatted it to APFS to see if that changed anything and it did not. Same error either way and again, I get the same error moving it to my mac's internal drive. I even renamed the photos file to see if that changed anything and it did not. I moved my wife's photos library to the external drive as a test and it worked perfectly. No issues moving it at all. So something is going on inside my photos library file.Just so you have all the data, I was moving it around to reformat the drive from a case sensitive format to non-case sensitive because I was getting an error moving photos and videos from my iPhone to my mac and was told this may be the solution. This is the original error that started this fiasco.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
