change finder prefs
Hey
I can't change the prefs in the finder ie: stop getting msg when empty trash etc
any help greatly appreciated

Mac mini, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1), mid 2011
If you uncheck the box of show warning before emptying the trash in finder preferences .
This pop up of emptying the trash will " not be shown " when you empty the contents from trash .
If this is not working enter in user library see this article macOS Sierra: Library folder
Find a folder preferences > delete com.apple.finder.plist to the desktop , restart the Mac and then again open finder .
