Overshoot on scale with sequence replicator

I use overshoot with sequence text without any problem. The same steps with sequence replicator don't produce the same results.

I want to ask for advice on how to get overshoot working with sequence replicator.

I have a circle that I replicated.

I set the replicator type to 'geometry'

I have a rounded rectangle as the source for the geometry with 80 points

I apply sequence replicator

I add the scale parameter

I set the sequencing to 'from keyframes'

On the scale parameter to choose from the menu - add parameter behavior - overshoot

I set the start value of the overshoot to -100, like I would with sequence text

These are the same steps I use with overshoot on the scale for sequence text - but the result is no different than just using regular 'from' sequencing with scale set to 0 -

The points just scale in - without the overshoot.

I can see the overshoot figures are all displaying in the editor - and the parameters are running through the numbers as if it is working - but the visual result isn't matching that information.

Am I missing a step here?

I could apply overshoot to the source and replicate that instead, which works normally - but I want to apply overshoot via the sequence replicator instead.
