beats studio3 Wireless

Hi,

Just to double check. I've got the Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphone for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes I use the headphone with the remotetalk audio-cable, so not wireless. It seems that when using the cable, the headphone needs to be charged as well. Is this correct? I've got the Solo3 as well and when using the cable with the Solo3, the Solo3 does not have to be charged.
