Will 4k movies bought from itunes play in 4k quality in 4k tv but with only the apple tv 4th gen,,,, also how will i know that the quality im watching is already 4k,, since even if you use a just hd tv, the 4k emblem still appears in itunes movies

You need the Apple TV 4K, and a 4K tv (and 4K compatible HDMI cables) to watch 4K content from the iTunes Store. If you use a receiver as a hub in the chain, then that will also have to support 4K.

When the 4K symbol shows on the index page for a title on iTunes Movies, that means the title is available in 4K. You will see the specs of exactly what is streamed to you through iTunes Movies, when you swipe down while playing.
