I've recently become aware that iTunes for Windows 10 is available as an APP from MS Store. I've only run iTunes as available from the Apple site. Is there an advantage in using the MS version vs. Apple's on Windows 10? If so are there procedures to uninstall Apple's product prior to installing the MS App?

There is no MS version of iTunes. Both versions are developed by Apple and distributed by Apple. Apple just decided to add it to the Windows Store for added distribution

The version in the Windows Store is exactly the same as the one form Apple's Website. It's just there to make it easier to get. But its the same thing.

You can uninstall iTunes by click on Settings->Applications & Features in the Start Menu, and then scrolling down to iTunes and selecting Uninstall.

There is really no point however.
