Question: Audiobooks

Sooooo .... where are my audiobooks? Why isn't the legendarily user-friendly Apple iTunes able to keep a cloud backup of our audiobooks, when audible and Kindle have no problem doing so? What am I missing here?

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

Answer:

See Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support if you're talking about books purchased from the iTunes Store. Unhide anything that is missing. Anything you ripped should be on your computer and/or your backups, and would need manually copying to a new computer. When did they go missing and what had you done at the time?
