Suddenly i can only hear callers with earplugs (headphones)

Suddenly i can hear callers only with headphones plugged in. I must have accidentally changed something and dont know how to fix it.

I need to use over the ear headphones because of some ear issues (not hearing issues). Thanks for any help!
