New battery, bad health

Hello, I just replaced a battery in my MacBook Air mid2012. It was Ok (0 cycles, 99% health), but after first charge it shows 0 cycles and only 88% health. Is this normal? Thank you

No. This is not normal.

Was the battery replaced by Apple. If so, please contact Apple.

1. Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.

Does this help?

2. Hold the option key down and click  menu in the menu bar.

Choose “System Information” from the dropdown

Hardware > Power > Battery Information >Health Information > Condition

Does it say Condition: Normal?
