Cropping photos bug.

so I uploaded all my pictures to my laptop and all my edited pictures are back to their original. (Cropped and adjusted color and light.) I have cropped my photos a couple of times already but they go back to their original format after some time. I’ve restarted the phone and the problem is still there.

How can I edit photos and discard the originals? In nearly all my photos, all I want to keep is a cropped bit. When I export my edits to the Desktop and import them to Photos, then trash the originals, I get a message that I can't edit them. What I have to do is make Screenshots and import them. It used to me much simpler. Why has Apple done this?

I can't close Photos I can't close photos. I have deleted a number of photos. Some of the photos are in some kind of export mode but they're not going anywhere.

Photos on IPad OS14.1 All my photos changed to a smaller size while using photos on my iPad using OS14. Even the photos I had already used in my Apple notes app. How do I get all the photos back to original size ? This is hard for an 81 year old man. help ! [Email Edited by Moderator]
