dropped my phone in water, screen damaged but still works fine

i dropped my phone in water for about 2 seconds with it turned on and it still works fine, except the screen gets white horizontal lines after a few seconds of using it. i dont really have a problem with the screen being weird coloured but i was wondering if i should still use it or leave it to dry incase the inside has been damaged?

Back up your phone immediately. The damage is done and it's highly probable the phone will simply stop functioning. You can get an out of warranty replacement, or maybe it's time for a new phone?
