forgotten firmware password I am having a new issue. After apple and the authorities have lied by not acknowledging or compansating me for many stolen apple devices, not even investigating or contacting me. My life is in shambles as i cannot remember my firmware password on a macbook pro and i was told my serial number is not valid to even get chat support.

I don't have my receipt for my 2012 macbook pro and I need it for a firmware password I forgot. Is there anything else I can show that proves the computer is mine? I still have the box the computer came in.
