Why would I pay for a membership to I-tunes? After my free trial am I no longer able to download songs? With a membership, I have to pay as well? What are the benefits of a membership?

You will no longer be able to download songs from Apple Music and you won't retain anything downloaded when the subscription expires.


With a monthly subscription you will be able to use Apple music as you did whilst you had the three months free trial.

To be clear... there is no paid iTunes membership. It is Apple Music you pay a monthly fee for.


I say this because you will continue to have free access to the iTunes store where you can purchase tracks ad hoc.


With a paid subscription to Apple Music, you can stream and download music, but you never have title to it as you do with iTunes purchases. Apple Music tracks are unplayable when you end the subscription.
