Is there a way to make the GPU as hot as possible?

I need some busywork for the GPU.

I bought a used 2015 iMac 5k (wonderful!). Apparently it was used in a room with a lot of perfume in the air because after 24 hours of normal use an 8 hours at 100% CPU it's still filling the room with perfume whenever it's on.

Hence my question. I want to evaporate the perfume inside by making it run as hot as possible with all fans at 100%.

I know how to run the CPU at 100% on all cores. That's the easy part. And btw the fans are admirably quiet!

IMAC (RETINA 5K, 27-INCH, LATE 2015), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

To control the fan better if you've not gotten it already

try Mac Fan Control software. (basic version runs free)

Macs Fan Control - CrystalIDEA Software

Control fans on Apple computers, also on Windows via Boot Camp.

Monitoring of fan speed and temperature sensors. Solve fan noise

and overheating problems, iMac HDD replacement

Choose the hardware with highest heat and set the fans

to try and keep one you choose, cool as possible. I have

used this on two different macOS; you've several choices.

And those other stress tests should enable cooking on high.

Yet you may need to look into the fans themselves to be sure

there isn't any dust around fan blades/enclosure. Clean fans.

Dust will retain certain chemical smells (perfume, etc) very well

& may need to be all cleared out before the smell can dissipate.
